Accommodation and Food
Staying at the Spirit of Life Centre

Greece is renowned for its health giving and delicious food. The food we serve at the Centre is vegetarian. We grow a lot of our vegetables in our organic garden and buy the rest from our local farmers market. We use the wild herbs that nature provides in abundance around us – purslane, mint, oregano, sage, rosemary, thyme, wild chicory and wild greens.

Healthy lunch!
If you are staying in accommodation at the centre, then we provide a self service continental breakfast of cereal, bread, including local honey and preserves, yoghurt, dried and fresh fruit. The local supermarket are also well stocked with local and seasonal foods.
Lunch is provided by us after your morning course session. We like to prepare our meals with love and aim to provide you with nutritious yet tasty meals with a Greek / Mediterranean feel. One of our cooks is intolerant of wheat, so problematic diets are happily catered for (try his special oatcakes flavoured with local almonds and sage).

May the food be blessed
We also provide a couple of the evening meals, usually on the first and last nights. For the rest of the week we invite you to enjoy the local tavernas, which some of the best Greek food that we have found in the whole of Greece. Unlike much of the Mediterranean, vegetarian options are well accommodated for in our area. Try some stuffed peppers and tomatoes, filled with rice and herbs or chickpea fritters.
