Spirit of Life is a centre which is completely of our time, combining the very best of holistic healing within a very inspirational setting. I congratulate Kerry and the team on taking this leap of faith in setting up the Centre and I know that many will find the deeper healing they seek at the Spirit of Life Centre.

Some commonly asked questions.

Who comes on your yoga holidays?
People come from all backgrounds. The larger percentage of participants are women, which reflects the fact that more women than men practise yoga. Many of our guests travel alone and some guests come with friends or a non-participating partner.

What age range are your guests?
Anything between 25 to 70 years old. Our youngest guest was 15 years old our oldest 73. The largest age range is between 30 -50.

What level experience do I need to have?
Our guests range from total beginners to the experienced practitioner, from the stiff to the super flexible. Yoga is a personal journey and you will be given adjustments to suit your current level. Our yoga holidays and retreats are a great way to experience yoga for the first time or to have time to get into a deeper practise.

How many classes are there?
There is a morning class which covers some of the more vigourous poses and an early evening class which is more recuperative  and relaxing as well as covering Pranayama (breathing). During the week there are also early morning meditation classes.

Do I have to attend all the classes?

No! All the classes are optional. After all, this is a holiday not a boot camp! We are quite happy if you decide to sleep in or spend more time on the beach in the afternoon. A big part of yoga is listening to your body’s needs and a holiday is also about rest and recharging.

Do I have to be up at the crack of dawn?
No. The morning class usually starts around 8.30 a.m. so plenty of time for a lie in after enjoying the local tavernas the night before.
