Having worked for over ten years in a busy corporate environment as a sales professional, Rachel decided to take a change in direction and deepen her knowledge and practice of Yoga.
After studying with The International Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Centre in India in 2009, she returned to the UK to teach Yoga. In 2011, she became a mother of twin boys falling pregnant shortly after completing the Pregnancy Yoga training with Yogacampus and Uma Dinsmore-Tuli. During that time, Rachel began to practice and teach Yoga Nidra on a regular basis and found that it provided a safe haven in which she could completely connect with her boys in utero.
In early 2012 Rachel went on to train further with Sitaram in the practice and teaching of Yoga Nidra.
Pregnancy and the postpartum phase of her life changed her relationship with her Yoga practice completely. The gift of children in her forties and an ever-changing body made this change essential, profound and a truly humbling experience. Latterly Rachel has completed further study in the field of Women’s Yoga and wellbeing as well as completing her Reiki Master level in 2015. She is also has a deep love of devotional music and chanting.
