Yoga Holiday

Come and join Sue and Matt for a rejuvenating week of yoga, walking, sun and relaxation.

During the retreat you will have the opportunity to participate in two yoga classes each day.  The morning class will be more dynamic, exploring and developing asanas and sequences.  The evening class will be gentler and will include yin and restorative yoga, as well as the opportunity to explore some partner yoga, yoga nidra and pranayama techniques.  The course will suit experienced yogis looking to develop their practice as well as beginners who want to explore the benefits of yoga.  With a maximum group of 12 there is plenty of time for individual guidance.

You can also join us for stunning mountain walks as well as traditional dinners in mountain villages. You might also choose to enhance your experience with a Thai yoga massage.

There will be ample free time to enjoy the beautiful surroundings, savour a meal on the harbour front, hire a bike to explore the coastline, swim in the warm clear waters of the sea or simply relax on the beach

Susan Dorrell has flirted with classes for many years, it was on a retreat in Goa that she truly fell in love with yoga, and began to glimpse the truth of the relationship between breath, movement, mind and spirit. The sense of peace, joy and empowerment she experienced was a revelation and inspiration, enabling her to seek growth and change in her life, letting go of fears and embracing new challenges. Since then her love affair with yoga has grown and developed. She feels fortunate to have encountered amazing teachers in many different countries and is full of gratitude for her opportunities to learn from others.

Having trained at Sampoorna Yoga, India (UK & US Alliance) her teaching is based on traditional yoga, embracing the fundamental elements of Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin and Pranayama with an exploratory and playful approach.

Sue believes yoga is about connecting - with ourselves, with others and finding our place in the universe.

Matt Mulcahy first stepped on the mat nearly 7 years ago as a means to complement other physical activity that included running, cycling and swimming. It wasn't until he moved to the UK from his native Australia that the practice evolved into a regular staple in his life.

Based in London, Matt practices and teaches various styles of yoga including Ashtanga, Vinyasa Flow, Hatha, Yin and Restorative and is passionate about yoga's ability to deepen the connection between mind and body, both on and off the mat.

Matt’s classes are mindfully sequenced, focusing on good alignment and are infused with a sense of playfulness. He encourages students from all yoga backgrounds and abilities to take part in using the practice to unlock potential, both physically and emotionally.

During the retreat, Matt's teachings will offer you the perfect space to move your body with fluidity and prepare the mind for deep relaxation, leaving you refreshed, energised and with a sense of achievement.
